Here are some of our indoor activities.

We have a thriving music session, run by a professional music teacher.
The club was very lucky to receive match funding from Calne Area Board to pay for Creative Music Sessions run by a professional tutor. These sessions are exceedingly popular and are available to non-members. In this picture Club members are waiting for instruction from Ursula - the Tutor.

The sessions are run twice a month on Fridays (see Monthly activities link above)

The members enjoy the monthly line dance sessions run by a professional lady who teaches at several other venues in town. People all seem to have their own favourite dance, but the one that is asked for usually is the dance where they join in the chorus with a "wiggle-wiggle-wiggle".

members on pc suite

We have a suite of computers which are available most days to all members.
Some of them like watching videos, others play educational games on them, others enjoy looking up information on the Internet.

There is always someone on hand if a member gets stuck! or needs a helping hand, and we have encouraged non computer literate members into becoming proficient computer operators and some have even have bought their own computers for use at home.

The members look forward to their art sessions, during which we try to set a new challenge by asking them to produce a piece of art. It may be painting, collage, still life or any other idea of their own. Here is Carolyn working on her collage.
